Enjoy the Natural Beauty
The wildlife here is incredible, and the numerous bird feeders we've set out keep them around from dawn to dusk every day. The trees and wild flowers are abundant, and the flower baskets and pots we put out each spring add to the color and attract hummingbirds. Sit back and enjoy the sounds and fragrances of the mountains, and relax on your private balcony.
Explore Nature
Step out your door for a long walk, take a vigorous hike or mountain bike miles of trials that run along the ridge tops behind the house. In the winter months, those same ridge tops provide spectacular powder to snow shoe, cross country ski or snow mobile in solitude and beauty.
Check Out the Neighborhood
The road that brings you from downtown Leavenworth to our home is famous for bicycling, where you can cruise past orchards, farms and wineries. Be sure to stop and visit our neighbor and friends at the famous Icicle Ridge Winery, just down the road. In summer, fruit stands pop up brimming with fresh local vegetables and fruit, usually hand picked that very same day. Nothing tastes better!
Do Nothing
Just hang out and relax! That HDTV at the foot of your bed is a great option if you just want to forget about the rest of the world for a spell, and get into a good movie on HBO or Cinemax movie channels. Or, sit on your patio and soak up the sun!
